Oyster Reef is a Rees Jones championship design that was named "course of the year" in 2006 by the Lowcountry Course Owner's Association. The layout features wide tree lined fairways that lead to raised green complexes which are well protected by large sand bunkers.
On property is a clubhouse with pro shop, restaurant/lounge and outdoor deck that also serve for banquets and outings, plus locker rooms with showers. Practice facilities include a targeted grass driving range, short game area with sand bunker and putting green. Directions:
Travel on William Hilton Parkway (Hwy 278 Business) to Whopping Crane Way (between mile markers 3 and 4) and Turn into Hilton Head Plantation entrance. At guardhouse, request a pass for Oyster Reef Golf Club. Proceed to High Bluff Road and turn Right. The Club entrance will be on your Right.
