The Heron Pines Course at Sea Pines Resort was renovated in 1997 by Pete Dye, and is one of the most challenging rounds on the island. The landing zones off the tee are usually generous, but golfers will be challenged by the small, undulating, raised green complexes that are well bunkered and require careful shot placement.
On property at the resort are 3 championship courses each facilitated by its own clubhouse with pro shop, plus restaurant/lounge. Full scale practice facilities at this property include a targeted grass range, short game area and putting green. Stay and play packages features many forms of accommodations, a variety of dining options and upscale amenities. For a pictorial review of this course, click on the review link near the top of this page. see our page for the resort on our Hilton head Golf resort section.
